Prednisolon ist ein entzündungshemmender Wirkstoff aus der Klasse der Glukocortikoide. Es ist ein hochwirksames Derivat von Hydrocortison, welches mittels Dehydrierung hergestellt wird. Es übertrifft in seiner entzündungshemmenden und antiallergischen Wirksamkeit Cortison und Hydrocortison um das 2- bis 4-fache.

Anwendungsgebiete:

alle Krankheiten, die auf eine systemische Clucocorticoidtherapie ansprechen, wie zB.: rheumatische Krankheiten, schwere Formen von allergischen Krankheiten, Nierenkrankheiten, Gefäßkrankheiten, Augenkrankheiten, endokrine Störungen, Hemmtherapie beim adrenogenitalen Syndrom (AGS), Blut- und maligne Systemkrankheiten, toxische Zustände bei Infektionskrankheiten, bulbärenzephalitische Form der Poliomyelitis, Lungenkrankheiten, Tuberkulose und maligne Tumore

Prednisolon is an anti-flammatory substance that belongs to the class of Glucocorticoids. It is a highly effective derivate of hydrocortisone, which is made thorugh dehydration. Its anti-inflammatory and anti-allergic effectiveness is 2 to 4 times that of Cortisone and Hydrocortisone.

Treatment Areas:

All diseases, which respond to a systematic Glucocorticoid therapy.

For example: rheumatic diseases, severe allergic diseases, kidney diseases, vascular diseases, eye diseases, endocrine disorders, therapies to reduce hyperplasia and overproduction of androgens or mineralocorticoids for Congenital adrenal hyperplasia (CAH), blood and malignant systematic diseases, toxic conditions during infectious diseases, bulbar-encephalitic form of poliomyelitis, lung diseases, tuberculosis and malignant tumours
